Peroni (with E&Y) has taken a deep dive into blockchain… here’s how:

• Peroni Suppliers upload data into their custom system

• The data is then fed through E&Y’s OpsChain app,

• An NFT is then minted with said data on the Polygon network

Each bottle then has a unique serial number & QR code.

We can then scan this to see ingredient data of the batch of beer it came from.

This provides transparency & verifiability for customers going forward.

‘Same taste, more blockchain’.

Financial Status: U.S. Govt Edition 🇺🇸

Uncle Sam… she never fails to entertain.

Here’s a quick update on her financial situation:

• Borrowing $5.2 billion per DAY for the next 10 years

• On track to pay $1 trillion + in interest in just 12 months

• Tax revenue down 8% over the last year

• Added $8 trillion in debt the last 3 years

• Added $1.5 trillion to debt balance since debt ceiling ‘crisis’

• Spending 40% more this year than 2019

• Nearly defaulted before uncapping debt limit until 2025

The worst one?

They expect debt-to-GDP ratio to spike to 225% by 2050.

Food for thought: If the U.S. was a public company, how would it’s stock be trading?

PayPal Launches Stablecoin 🪙

Can you hear that? Yep, it’s the sound of another institution getting into crypto.

This time? PayPal.

They’ve been involved in it for a while offering limited trading services.

But they’ve taken it to a new level… and launched their own stablecoin 💰

Here’s some quick facts:

• ‘PayPal USD’ (PYUSD) will be pegged to the dollar

• Built on the Ethereum network

• Backed by short-term treasuries & cash equivalents
